About Me

My name is Nicholle I'am 30years old. I live in a quiet country town called Argyle, NY. It is a beautiful place with lots of farms and land. My wonderful and supportive husband Paul and our little girl Lily live in a home we own tucked in the country. It's nice to walk out your door and take a walk through the woods. It all started when I was at my first Dead show. What an experience it was, of course the music, but on top of that all the beautiful handmade goods, skirts, dresses, pants done in beautiful patchwork and applique. I knew then that I wanted to start creating. My husband led the way by purchasing a sewing machine for christmas. I first started off with quilting which is also a relaxing and creative expereince. I then turned my attention towards creating clothing. My goal of course is to create clothing that will last many years. I also strive to make sure my customers are happy. In the last six months or so I have turned my sites toward becoming more eco-friendly. I started purchasing hemp fabric and organic cotton. I debated about how I would dye the fabric. So I decided to challenge myself and try to learn on my own. Through much trial and error I have finally reached my goal. This business is such an exciting adventure for me and is a dream come true. I work as a Respiratory Therpaist partime which in itself is very empowering. Taking care of children, being there for them. I'm also a fulltime mom to my little Lily. She keeps me very busy. I'am constantly trying to perfect my craft. It continues over time to evolve and change. I want to take time to give special thanks to first my husband and daughter for putting up with my endless hours of sewing. To Paul for always being encouraging and helping me live out my dreams. My brother Chris for his support and building this site. My sister Alicia for her support and some of the art work that you will see on this site. To my mom for always supporting me. To Vicki,Laura,Noreen and Tosha for always supporting me and being good friends.I want to thank Renee my cousin and the person who will be modeling all my clothing. To Dee wo has been a good friend and is the best seamstress that I know, who has helped me tremendously.I personally thank Renee for her support and commitment to help me with the modeling process. Love......

I try to create wearble art that will last you many years. All fabrics are pre-washed,dryed and pressed. All seams straight stitched, serged and top stitched where needed. I hand-dye all the hemp fabric that you will see on this site. Special instructions, I always follow the directions, but to be safe always hand-wash or machine wash separately in cold water.
